Deeply curious, committed and resourceful, Mathieu is determined to make a lasting, tangible impact through his work. He has a keen interest in the fight against climate change and new technologies, and knows how to use his political acumen to get his message across.

Before joining our team, Mathieu held public relations and communications positions with clean-tech start-ups (Pyrowave) and with organizations campaigning for healthier, more sustainable and innovative resource management (Écotech Québec, International Secretariat for Water). These experiences taught him how to find the right angle to talk about complex issues, run impact communication campaigns and adapt his messages for a variety of audiences, from government players in Quebec to young farmers in Benin.

Mathieu's desire to foster constructive discussions and to get involved has also led him to make a documentary in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and to take part in an international cooperation project in La Paz, Bolivia.

Mathieu holds a bachelor's degree in economics and politics from the Université de Montréal and is completing a Specialized Graduate Diploma (DESS) in journalism.
